Building Monitoring Services Ltd was started in 1994 by dedicated professionals with a broad and lengthy experience in the specialised areas of water and air hygiene.

Of greatest importance to the founders was to provide a source of advice which was completely independent of any remedial works or "extra" services that may, or may not, be required.

This was so that clients could feel confident that they receive (and are being seen to receive) un-biased recommendations without a conflict of interest.

Over 25 years later, BMS remains a major player within the market sectors. We are proud of our high standards and maintain, adhere to and protect our original aims believing, as has been proven, that these are the keys to delivering outstanding service.

Our philosophy is one of partnership with our clients built on long-term mutual gain and not short-term expediency and as a result we have retained most of our original clients.
